The writing method that is utilized be it prose, epic poetry, or drama/cinematic style writing is up to the authority of the creator. Regardless of the writing methods and techniques used there must also be a clear description of the secondary world. The creative project is accompanied by a one page reflective essay on the piece and the authorial choices of the writer.
